Concert to
Benefit CEF
On
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at 4 PM, Christ the King
Moravian Church will host a benefit concert on behalf of Child
Evangelism Fellowship. All donations will go to the urban
ministry of CEF. Gabriel Meza will perform classical music of
Ysaye, Bach, Paganini, Sibelius, and Chopin. For more

Burning Bush & CEF
Thousands of city
kids will be receiving one of these new HiSStory
booklets created collaboratively by CEF Durham and Burning Bush
Creation. This project
will allow city kids to effectively understand God's Story of
creation and salvation. Parents and teachers are encouraged to
request copies for use with kids they know and teach.

Community Development Event
A
group of 25 or more ministers and students from the RDU area,
including CEF
Durham, Urban Hope, and Duke Divinity attended the annual CCDA conference in Miami
Oct. 22-26. The group from RDU was among 2,500 other urban
ministers attending from across the USA and around the world.
