Urban boot camp confronts challengesof living and ministering in the city each summer while reaching hundreds of kids on the streets and in select communities of Durham. The diverse Gospel-centered outreach offered duringeach boot camp week enables continued implementation and strengthening of the strategic “10 Keys of the Kingdom” in each target community. Soccer, basketball, skateboarding, communityservice, and other activities are used to enhance effective ministry to nearly two thousand city kids and families involved in these activities. Collaboration with local churches and ministriesenriches the mission outreach and sustains it for the coming school year. For many children, these will be the first Bible-centered activity they have ever attended.
