In the midst of Halloween (Sat. Oct. 31st), costumed kids, and over 5,000 people enjoying a beautiful Fall day in Durham, CEF partnered with NBN Sports and World Overcomers Church at a Fall Festival of games, food, and gospel-centered activities. CEF and NBN Sports used indoor and outside courts to offer basketball to the crowd, while promoting each organization. We ran shooting contests and 3 on 3 basketball games for 3 hours outside and a finale’ championship inside the NBN Sports gym. New heavy-duty outdoor goals were provided by CEF and More Than Gold sports camps. This was the first collaboration between CEF and NBN Sports. Plans are being finalized to partner on other events and weekly after school clubs.
