  1. What parts of Durham and surrounding areas do you minister in?
    1. We are charged with serving the following seven counties in the Piedmont of North Carolina: Caswell, Person, Granville, Alamance, Orange, Durham, and northern Chatham.  Although we’ve served kids in each of these counties, most of the ongoing work is in Durham, Orange, and Alamance counties.
  2. How can I enroll my child in the Good News Clubs or other programs you have?
    1. Please contact us and we’ll reach out to you with more information.  FYI – CEF does not post the locations and times of current clubs for the safety and security of the children and volunteers involved.
  3. How can I become a volunteer?
    1. Please visit the “Become A Volunteer” link (top black menu bar), and fill out the form.  We’ll contact you as soon as possible to set up an in-person meeting.

  2. Visit our resources page.
  3. How is this ministry supported?
    1. CEF of North Carolina (Durham) operates as a by faith, donation-supported organization, with the staff, board members, and financial sub-committee sharing the fund-raising responsibilities. The paid staff and volunteers carry out the many aspects of direct ministry and administrative tasks of reaching and teaching the children within the Durham Area Chapter.  Financial and prayer support comes from churches and individuals who share the vision of reaching kids with the Gospel and teaching them for Christian living.
