CEF Durham hosted another Blacktop Games event Saturday, October 17th. Dozens of excited city kids attended from various neighborhoods where we hold Good News Clubs. Over 15 different sports and games were offered to the kids who attended. These are the same games we use for fun and gather kids during weekly clubs, sports clubs and sports camps.The 30 or more volunteers who helped with this Blacktop Games event were able to enjoy and see the kids in action as well as observe how CEF ministers to Boys and Girls Club the Durham area. 25 city kids make the decision to follow Christ on this special day. Most of these kids, which CEF works with, are unchurched. Fortunately, local churches and two other ministries partnered with CEF during this event. All of these city kids now have the opportunity to attend church and their local neighborhood club every week.
